Galvanex has the effect in Chinese medicine of Lifting the Qi. In Chinese medicine, to feel less anxious, have stronger resistance to infection, and to have better peripheral circulation, you must have lots of Qi and Blood in your upper body. When Qi instead sinks to the lower body, symptoms can include one or more of the following:

  • Urinary or fecal incontinence
  • Prolapse
  • Recurrent bladder infections despite antibiotic therapy
  • Frequent and often loose or pale stools
  • Difficulty gaining weight
  • A weak appetite
  • Anxiety
  • Weakness and fatigue
  • Pacing
  • Low-grade itch
  • Leaky gut
  • Pododermatitis
  • Reduced peripheral circulation

From a Western medical perspective, sinking Qi is commonly associated with adrenal fatigue. These animals may not have Addison’s disease but may have a Na:K ratio less than 27 in their blood work, even if they have been diagnosed with Cushing’s disease.

Anxiety in these animals does not respond to or is even aggravated by the descending action of Halscion. Using Galvanex with Halscion supports a balanced effect on mentation in which anxiety disappears.

Immune deficiency is often seen at body surfaces, slowing the response to Cessorex in real-food fed dogs with allergic dermatitis. Using Galvanex with Cessorex in those animals accelerates improvements.

Peripheral circulation may also decline when the Qi sinks, weakening the response to formulas like Voltrex and Lumbrex. Using Galvanex with these two formulas can enhance their efficacy in treating lameness and weakness.

In short, Galvanex provides a foundation for all these treatments to work more effectively, making Galvanex an important Herbal Helper.

Ingredients:

  • Ginseng root
  • Chinese Angelica root
  • Astragalus root
  • White Atractylodes rhizome
  • Bupleurum root

Feeding Directions:

To use, just fold the herbs into your pet's real food diet, mix them with a little butter, or shake them up with broth or water and pour them over top if using canned or kibble.

As a suggested starting dose, give twice daily as follows:

  • Up to 15 pounds: 1/8 tsp
  • 15 to 40 pounds: 1/4 tsp
  • 40 to 70 pounds: 1/2 tsp
  • 70 to 110 pounds: 3/4 tsp
  • Over 110 pounds: 1 tsp

If benefits are not seen, the dose can be safely doubled.

One bottle of Galvanex lasts over a month for dogs 50 lbs and under; and for two weeks for 100 lb dogs.

All the benefits are more effective when pets are fed a fresh-food diet.
