Dry Natural Dry, Canned, & Dehydrated Foods

At Dexter's Deli we carry only the highest quality dry and canned foods. Although a natural dry or canned food doesn't provide all the same benefits of a fresh food diet, it is much healthier and far less toxic than most regular dog and cat foods.

We also carry a variety of freeze-dried and dehydrated foods that bridge the gap between raw or home-cooked diets and dry or canned food. They are processed at a much lower temperature than dry or canned foods, thus retaining more natural nutrition. They provide a convenient travel or emergency food for pets that eat raw or home-cooked diets, and can be mixed with other types of food to improve nutritional balance and taste.

Buyer Beware!

Dry and canned pet foods are carefully marketed to appeal to pet owners. Companies use carefully chosen phrases to convince you that their food is “natural,” “healthy,” and “complete,” but these terms can be misleading. Most pet foods are made with substandard ingredients, the leftovers from manufacturing. Pet owners must educate themselves so that they can fully understand what the terms on the ingredients labels really mean.
