Dexter's Deli specializes in supplying truly all natural diets
and supplements for dogs and cats. When you come into Dexter's you'll
find that we do not carry aisles and aisles of dry and canned pet
foods. What you will find are freezers filled with fresh raw food
diets and of selected natural dry and canned foods.
Our philosophy is that what an animal eats, (the quality of nutrients,
along with proper supplementation), as well as the purity of his
environment, is the foundation of his overall well-being. By staying
as close to the ways of nature and eliminating harsh chemicals from
their diet and environment, we have seen miraculous changes take
place in the lives of countless pets, as well as their delighted
owners that we have known through the years. Our healthy pet products
consists of the highest quality; Human-Grade, chemical-free ingredients,
intended to boost the pets' immune system, keeping them strong and
resistant to disease and degeneration.
Fresh Raw Food Diets
Our true passion is educating owners about the benefits of feeding
dogs and cats a raw food diet. While processed foods have become
the norm, our pets' digestive tracts are still designed for fresh
food. Over the years we've had many owners report that their pets'
chronic illnesses have disappeared since they changed them to a
raw diet. This may sound like another fad, but indeed, it's a tradition
for dogs and cats. Think about it - how different is a dog from
a coyote, or a housecat from a bobcat?

Our Raw Food Selection
All our raw meat products are human grade, hormone and antibiotic-free,
and USDAA inspected. We carry a variety of raw parts, such as turkey
necks, chicken necks and backs, and recreational bones. We also
carry a wide selection of prepared raw diets:
Nature's
Variety
This is a complete diet (95% meat/bone/organ, 5% vegetables), with
a wide range of organic vegetables and some organic meat (not 100%
due to availability). The high meat content makes this a great food
for cats, or animals dealing with cancer.
Primal
Primal offers several varieties (beef, lamb, chicken, duck, pheasant,
venison) made with the highest quality ingredients, including organic
veggies (15-40%), EFAs, and other natural supplements, providing
a complete diet that your dog will love. They also make a cat-specific
diet with10% veggies, with cooked salmon added to some varieties
to attract the finicky felines. Primal Mixes are a simpler diet
that are made with an unusual selection of organic fruits and veggies
- an excelllent way to add nutritional variety to any raw food plan.
Bravo
Bravo is a cost-effective, basic raw diet made with high quality
ingredients. We carry meat and veggie blends (turkey, chicken, lamb,
beef) in which each meat has a different variety of veggies (15%).
We also carry exotics like whole ground quail and rabbit, tripe,
and 100% veggie blends for custom mixing.
Western Supreme
(75% meat/organ, 25% vegetables) Correct ratio of raw muscle meat,
organ meat, and fat with raw pureed vegetables. Just add calcium
for a complete diet, or feed with raw meaty bones. Available in
turkey, chicken, fish, beef, and lamb. One-pound trays.
Halshan
A variety of meat and vegetable combinations in one-pound packets.

Organ meats sold separately to be fed once or twice a week. Available
in chicken, beef, turkey, lamb, fish, venison, buffalo, ostrich,
and rabbit. Finely ground chicken necks without veggies also available.
Stella
& Chewies
Uses only free-range meats and organic vegetables (4% veggies).
Includes bones and organ meats, plus supplements for a complete
diet. Comes in convenient 1.5 oz patties in beef, lamb, and chicken.

Info Sheet
Natural Dry, Canned, & Dehydrated Foods
At Dexter's Deli we carry only the highest quality dry and canned
foods. Although a natural dry or canned food doesn't provide all
the same benefits of a fresh food diet, it is much healthier and
far less toxic than most regular dog and cat foods. We also carry
a variety of dehydrated foods that bridge the gap between raw diets
and dry or canned food. |
Deli Treats
& Cakes
Locally made just for us at a human bakery, you can eat these treats
and cakes along with your pet (though we're pretty sure your dog
will like them more).
Fresh Bakery Treats
Dexter's Deli Treats come in five flavors; liver, tuna, cheese,
peanut butter, and carob/peanut butter. We don't do cute little
shapes that cost you more. Our treats are not novelty treats, they're
snacks your dog or cat can enjoy everyday and you can feel good
about giving. Dexter's treats have real ingredients; that means
no powders or "natural" flavorings added. The tuna treats
are hypoallergenic, tuna and rice. Dogs and cats go nuts for our
treats, you couldn't bake them better at home! Dexter's Deli Treats
stay fresh for five to seven weeks if refrigerated and approximately
two to three weeks in a ziplock bag. Order extra and freeze them
for several months.
Puppy Party Cakes
Remember that special pup's birthday by giving him a party cake.
A carrot and molasses cake with no white flour or added sugar, with
non-dairy whipped cream frosting in white or peanut butter. Our
round cake serves 5-6, the bone shaped cake serves 8-10. |
